We are not able to provide a detailed
indice listing following a request from BCIS (Building
Cost Information Service) that this information is
only available from them.
The information can be found (as a
graphical representation) within their free quarterly internet review of the
construction industry - "BCIS Quarterly Review".
The Indices information is also available in detail
to subscribers of BCIS, and published in text form (quarterly)
or online (updated fortnightly) by being a full BCIS
member or alternatively subscribing to 'BCIS
Indices and Forecasts' (Mar, June, Sept, Dec)
which gives basic indice information for £80 per
issue or £250 for all four.
The much more detailed indices information that is
available to all Full BCIS subscribers,
also provides a detailed database of thousands of
individual project costs (for use primarily by
Quantity Surveyors). The extra indices cover Public
Sector/Housing/Private Sector/Private Commercial/Private
Industry 's also Southern
Eastern Sample/Rest of UK sample also
Refurbishment/Housing Refurb/Non Housing Refurb also
12 regional cost indices .
The full BCIS Subscription cost is £560 pa (£420
to RICS members)
or £820 pa (£590 to members) for the (more
comprehensive) 'on-line' version
